In the garage this afternoon with Michigan football on. We got the defending national champs from Indiana today, and Tommy Carr is starting at quarterback. A game does not get much bigger than this in October.
I lit The Shit Show Crew lonsdale by AJ Fernandez for it. Possibly fitting name for a Saturday like this one.
This one is rich from the start. Cocoa, dark and a little sweet, with earth and cedar under it and pepper sitting on my tongue after every puff. Partway in it gets deeper. Molasses shows up, and a dark fruit taste like dates. By the end it is cinnamon spice and cedar and black pepper, and it burns slow enough to last the whole game.
Big game on, a cigar like this in my hand. Fall Saturdays do not need much more than that.
