Sitting out on the patio tonight soaking up every bit of this. The air is still warm, the yard is quiet, and this feels like one of the last summer kind of nights we get this year.
I went with the Privada Watch Series Pepsi GMT.
It starts off creamy and nutty, with cedar right there and just a little pepper and espresso underneath. Halfway through it gets richer. I start tasting dark chocolate and brown sugar, with the spice getting warmer as it goes. By the end it is oak and coffee and leather, and the smoke stays thick and smooth the whole way down.
Nights like this are numbered now. I am in no hurry to watch this one burn down.
